Bob joined Mapeley in September 2002, bringing with him almost 30 years of experience in virtually every aspect of the real estate business. He has lead organizations ranging from start up ventures to major global enterprises and approaches the opportunity at Mapeley as the exciting new frontier of the property industry.

Bob's spent 22 years at LaSalle Partners in Chicago and it's successor company Jones Lang LaSalle. During the 1980's he built LaSalle Partners property management and leasing business into the leader in the U.S. market. He pioneered the concept of value driven property management and is credited with setting new industry standards for the sophisticated leasing and management of income producing properties for institutional owners.

He became a Managing Partner of the firm in 1990 and the companies President in 1994, with responsibility for all 9 of the firms businesses. Bob played a leadership role in expanding LaSalle Partner's activities globally and achieving market leadership in the full range of LaSalle's businesses ranging from corporate property services and facilities management to real estate investment banking and property funds management. In 1997, he helped lead the process of taking the firm public on the New York Stock Exchange. Following LaSalle Partners' agreement to merge with Jones Lang Wootton of London in 1998 to form Jones Lang LaSalle, Bob continued as CEO of the Americas business, before retiring from the firm at the end of 1999.

Immediately prior to joining Mapeley, Bob was involved in a number of ventures in the technology and property sectors.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Indiana University and an MBA from Harvard.
