Jamie Hopkins
Chief Executive Officer
Jamie Hopkins joined Mapeley as Property Director in January
2002 from the UK listed property company Delancey. In January 2004, Jamie
became Chief Executive Officer of Mapeley and is now responsible for all
areas of the business including future growth opportunities and long term
strategy.
At Delancey he was Acquisitions Director responsible for the
Company's investment activities in the UK with focus on acquisitions,
disposals, portfolio management and investment strategy, working alongside
the Chairman, James Ritblat. Prior to that Jamie was a director of
Savills' commercial Investment Department responsible for property
investment, acquisitions and strategy on behalf of non-retained clients.
His experience includes strategic UK property analysis,
acquisitions and disposal of investment, portfolio management and property
development. Additionally he has sourced, analysed and purchased property
assets on behalf of various blue chip clients, including �200 million of
transactions for PDFM Property Partnership Fund. Jamie's interest in
outsourcing stemmed from his time at Delancey where he represented their
investment into Mapeley prior to joining the Company full time. Jamie has
a B.Sc. in Estate Management and is a Member of the Royal Institute of
Surveyors.
