John Heywood
Executive Director, Business Development
John Heywood joined Mapeley as Director in May 2002.
John began his career with BP Australia, where, over a 12-year period, he
held various positions covering marketing, finance and real estate
development. He then moved onto Lend Lease Corporation where he started
out as Property and Asset Manager, and was subsequently promoted to Chief
Information Officer in Sydney, Australia. He then moved to Atlanta,
Georgia and became Senior Vice President and Global CIO of Lend Lease Real
Estate Investments.
In 1998, John moved to Ernst & Young where he developed the Pacific North
West Engineering, Construction and Real Estate. Following the merger with
Cap Gemini Ernst & Young he became Vice President (Partner prior to
merger) and Regional director of Western USA, High Growth Consulting
Practice. He managed the practice in 17 states with 160 professionals. He
focused on providing services in merger integration, business strategy,
financial reporting systems implementation and integration, organizational
change and strategic asset management advice. He also led the National
Engineering Construction and Real Estate Practice.
John Heywood has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting/Economics) from
University of Technology, Sydney, and is an Associate Member of the Australian Society of Certified
Practicing Accountants. |
