Mapeley Completes Senior Management Team

Mapeley, the specialist provider of serviced business space, announces that it has successfully completed a lengthy programme of recruitment to provide Mapeley with the optimum senior management team for the next phase of the company's development.
The latest appointment to the Mapeley board is Bob Spoerri as Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”). Bob will primarily be responsible for managing the company day-to-day and providing strategic direction for the company's future growth. Bob, 53, is a US Citizen and previously served as President of LaSalle Partners, Inc. In 1998, he played a key role in the merger of LaSalle Partners with Jones Lang Wootton of London to create Jones Lang LaSalle, the leading international real estate services firm. At the time of the merger, Bob became the CEO-Americas of Jones Lang LaSalle retiring at the end of 1999. Bob holds a Harvard MBA and has spent virtually his entire career in the property industry.
Richard Georgi, Managing Partner of Soros Real Estate Partners, becomes Non-Executive Chairman.
Robin Priest, who is appointed Deputy Chairman, will continue to be responsible for external issues and, in particular, for the management of existing client relationships at the most senior level and the development of new business opportunities.
The rest of the management team now comprises:
Patrick Butcher, who joined Mapeley from London Underground, is Finance Director; Jameson Hopkins, who was previously a director of Delancey Estates, is Property Director; Philip Russell, formerly Managing Director of Servusb2b, is Services Director; and John Heywood, who was previously a vice president at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in the US is Technology Director.
Commenting, Richard Georgi, Chairman of Mapeley, said:
