Robin Priest, Deputy Chairman of Mapeley has told Property Week of his plans to build the outsourcing company into a �1bn-turnover business by 2007. He believes a new management team will take it forward now it has digested big contracts for the Inland Revenue and Abbey National. Priest was speaking after the House of Commons Treasury Select Committee criticised Revenue officials for their handling of its STEPS contract. Whitehall sources said Mapeley was negotiating for a lump sum of around �25m and extra annual payments in the region of �10m to cover significant variations in the terms of its contract. Mapeley also reveals its annual figures for 2002.
