SREP pursues a focused and disciplined real estate investment strategy and to complement Soros's private equity initiative, Soros Private Equity Partners. The SREP team has extensive experience in complex international real estate and private equity transactions while at Goldman, Sachs & Co.'s Whitehall Street Real Estate Funds and Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds. SREP is the General Partner of Soros Real Estate Investors (SREI), a new over EUR1 billon Fund targeting non-U.S. private equity real estate and real estate-related investments principally in control transactions, primarily in Western Europe and, to a lesser extent, Japan.
