Jonathan Ashley is a Managing Director of Fortress Investment Group based in London and concentrates on
structured finance, asset management and new business opportunities. Mr Ashley previously worked for
the Global Principal Finance Group at UBS from May 1997, concentrating primarily on contract and
structured finance.
Prior to joining UBS, Mr Ashley worked for BlackRock Capital Finance ("BCF") from April 1996.
Prior to joining BCF, Mr Ashley worked at Morgan Stanley, Inc. in its real estate investment
banking group, where he focused on commercial real estate securitisations. Prior to joining
Morgan Stanley, Mr Ashley was in the structured finance group at the law firm of Skadden, Arps,
Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
Mr Ashley received a BA degree in History from Tufts University and JD degree from the University of
Pennsylvania Law School.
