December 2014: Following a residential conversion of HM Passport Office’s previous accommodation, Mapeley has relocated the team to Sapphire Plaza, Reading. The common areas were also refurbished to provide improved accommodation for HMPO, and to help market the remaining vacant space.

The Apex, an existing Mapeley owned property, was recently vacated by HMRC, meaning that the relocation of VOA has successfully recycled existing estate space.

MAPELEY SECURES TENANT LEASE RESTRUCTURE AT TY GLAS, CARDIFF07 April 2014

Mapeley has agreed a deal with a third party tenant resulting in a cash flow benefit of £542,000 for five years, which is the first break point of the lease. The deal involved a surrender and re-grant deal with the tenant, on a longer term contract, and included additional space that was vacant.
